Look what we have been up to recently...

This term we had an exciting trip travelling to the National Coal Mining Museum in Wakefield . Here we saw the pit ponies, visited the shower block, explored the exhibits, met ex-miners and then ventured underground. We experienced what life would have been like for the Victorian children working in the dark, cramped conditions. Our Parent Morning this term allowed our Parent/Carers to take part in our Maths lessons where we showed them our methods for multiplication. During our Science lessons we explored sound and used musical instruments and string telephones to support our understanding.
