Last term we learned about Chocolate. We wrote our own chapters to add to Roald Dahls famous book Charlie & the Chocolate Factory! We also wrote our own figurative language poems! We had great fun in maths, French and computing too!

We were also lucky enough to be trained by a stage 10 Chocolatier! He spent 2 days in school with us and trained us too!

This year we will be studying...

Year 5 Curriculum Overview 18-19

All classes in Y5 get a chance to work with the Elite Coaches on a Friday. To make changing between classes easier, we would prefer pupils to come to school wearing their official Green/Black PE kit on Friday instead of their regular uniform

This term we will be doing athletics outside. Children will need to wear their school black PE shorts/black tracksuit bottoms & t-shirt for these lessons. Black school hoodies maybe worn over the top to keep pupils warm for the rest of the day. As this is the uniform for the day we ask that children wear the official school PE kit rather than sports clothing from other clubs etc.
